History of The Hair of the Dog

Founded in 1978, “The Hair” as she is affectionately known, is not very old as history goes, but she is a veteran of some 25 years of Desert Living. Currently she is residing in the old Ruby’s Dunes Restaurant Building. This building , one of the first ever built in the town, was a favorite “watering hole” for such celebrities as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford, Sammy Davis Jr. and many more, who were traveling between Las Vegas and Palm Springs.
